A former abercrombie model, current CrossFit athlete and coach, and a Boston born and bred actor now based in New York - but don't hold that against him.
Michael is a performer that continually seeks out roles that juxtapose external appearances with internal complexities. Often these roles demand both comedic timing and intense focus, high energy and grounded presence, intense physicality and soft vulnerability.
He is keenly interested in pursuing projects that focus on new play development, classic texts and the American theatrical repertoire. He has performed in 19 out of 38 plays in Shakespeare's canon, and eager to complete the cycle (Call me when you're producing Henry VIII). He grew up reading Arthur Miller, Eugene O'Neill, Tennessee Williams and Sam Shepard, and is always on the hunt for remounts of these titans.
Artist Mission Statement:
To actively perform as an agent of empathy, finding opportunities, no matter how big or small, to make theater and film accessible to all, to tell stories that give voice to the unheard and raise the curtain of the overlooked.
Education:
BA - Northeastern University, Theatre
MFA - The Old Globe / University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program
Representation:
Theatrical / Film - Harden Curtis Kirsten Riley Agency
Commercial / Voiceover - Brady, Bannon & Rich
